I was hoping that Lily would just be brave enough to stand up there, and that's basically all she did. When Lily gets shy or nervous about something she puts her hands up to her mouth and leaves them there. She walked into the sanctuary with her hands up to her face and she left the stage with her hands up to her face. She did sing a couple of songs, which surprised me, but her hands were hiding her mouth. When they sang This Little Light of Mine, she had one hand by her mouth with the other hand holding up her finger for her "light" right next to her face. It was sooo cute! I, of course, was hoping that she would sing her fish song the way she did at home (see post before this one), but of course she wouldn't. I was just so proud that she was able to get up on stage and not cry. Lily has really come a long way this year, and we are just so proud of her. :)
Lily is ready to go to her program!
Family pic, posing in front of her school
Walking into the sanctuary, hands in mouth or beside mouth the entire time!
This is such a bad pic because it is so dark, but there is my princess with her hands up by her face!
After the performance Lily got to take us all through her classrooms to show us what they do all day. She couldn't wait to show Mimi her rooms!
She loves playing in the house center, with all the babies
Lily is showing Coop, Sam, and Ella the class fish, they thought they were pretty cool!

I'm glad she was able to face her fear! She looks a lot like Josh, but I have to say the outfit and hair reminds me of a little Whiteley girl I used to know!!! She is such a cutie!
I knew she would do it!! She looks so cute in her dress!!
Aw Annie that is so great! Good job Lily! Now make sure you sign up for the summer preschool musical we are going to need you girl!
Lily is growing up so beautiful and her Mimi was awfully proud of her, too. And everything should be celebrated with ice cream!
She looked so cute in that dress. I'm glad it was a success:)
Congrats, Lily! That's wonderful that she conquered her fear! Of course, ice cream is always a sweet reward for any occasion!
yea, I'm so happy for Lily. I can not wait for Kirsten to go there in August.
Yeah, tell Lily her Aunt Mandy is soooo proud of her and sher really looked pretty!
Lily looks so grown up in all of the pictures. It makes me a little sad she is growing up. I'm really proud of her, though. Most people can never overcome their fears, Lily's got everyone beat!
I'm so proud of her. She will get braver all the time. She looks so cute. I'm sure you were very proud.
Way to go Lily! What a big girl! She is SO pretty! You do have a beautiful family!
I love her polka dot dress! I am also glad her public debut went so well!
