BIG Week

We have had some very excited things happen around our house this week. I'll start off with Coop's first day of preschool. He has been ready to go to "school" for a very long time now. When we took Lily to Pre-K last year and she cried, Coop said, "I'll stay and I won't cry". So, I thought Coop's first day would be a breeze, but wouldn't you know it he cried when we left him. I couldn't believe it, he never does that. Later when I picked him up he said he had fun and he wasn't going to cry the next time. :) I can't believe how quickly my little man is growing up, he is going to be four in a few weeks and it just doesn't seem possible. When Coop is having a bad day he can be a REAL stinker, but when he is being sweet there is NO ONE sweeter than him and I just love him to pieces.

First day of school pose with his new backpack

All three together and happy :)

Josh is such a good daddy he stayed at home that morning to take Coop to school and Coop loved showing his daddy where he gets to go this year.

Cooper is looking at the fish with his new teacher Mrs. Tweet. I asked Coop if he liked Mrs. Tweet and he said, "Yes, she lets us dance around!"

Cooper led us to his favorite section of the classroom- blocks, cars, trucks OH MY!

Continuing on with our big week, Lily made the biggest and most important decision of her life. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior Tuesday evening at our church's revival. She was in a kids revival the two previous nights and their guest speaker is amazing. He does a fantastic job explaining salvation to children. She walked forward by herself that evening (Josh and I were not in the kids revival) and said she wanted to be saved. PRAISE GOD!!! Obviously we couldn't be happier for Lily and her decision.

Ruby turned seven months old on the twentieth, and yes before you say anything that was the day I turned (gulp) thirty. My baby is seven months old- WOW!! She is getting too big, too fast. She can now drink out of a straw, feed herself Cheerios, and crawl. Yes, she has started crawling. I can't believe it, my other two didn't crawl until eight months and Ruby started at six and a half months. She also has started throwing fits. I didn't think that was possible in a baby so young, but yes Ruby is quite a little pro. She screams if I take her out of the bath too soon, take something away from her that she is chewing on, or when we put her in her car seat (she HATES laying back). I am afraid we are going to have our hands full with this little strong willed child. We love her to pieces, fits and all. :)

She started sitting up right after she turned six months old
Ruby loves to crawl and Lily and Cooper love to cheer her on
Ruby and Brock are getting some snuggle time in with Aunt Sally and baby Heidi. She is set to arrive in less than two weeks-YEA!!!!! Can't wait to hold and love on her!!
