Fun at the carnival!!!

Well we took the kids to the carnival last week and they had a BLAST!!! This was the first year that we went when our kids wanted to actually ride the rides. I couldn't believe how brave they were, especially my little Lily. She rode everything like a champ, she even did more rides than Coop would do. She is just growing up more and more every day. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the carnival rides, but they have these slides that are HUGE!!! The kiddos wanted to ride them ( I couldn't believe it, these are really TALL slides). Anyway, they had to ride with a parent so Josh and I got to have some fun at the carnival too, seriously people those slides are crazy fun - I was lovin it!!! It was a beautiful evening, Ruby was actually very good and rode in her stroller almost the whole time which is saying something for my little spoiled Ruby. The kiddos rode ride after ride, at the end of the evening Lily rode the Tilt-a-world with Uncle Jason and Ella then they jumped straight to another spinning ride. When Lily got off this ride she was crying, her face and lips were WHITE!!! She could hardly stand up and looked awful. She never did loose her dinner, I was sure it was coming up. I was afraid this would be all that she remembered from the carnival and I was so proud of her and the way she rode the rides. But the next morning she woke up and said, "Hey, I feel so much better. The carnival was super fun!" So her queasy stomach hasn't scared her away from carnivals yet! :)

Attempting to get a shot of all three before we headed to the carnival.
The merry go round is always a favorite
Coop liked having his daddy close by
It was super nice having Austin there, because Coop didn't want to ride until I told him he could ride with Austin. Sometimes I wish Coop had a brother, but I just don't think that is EVER going to happen. ;)
Alora, Ella, and Lily enjoying some fun on the elephant ride
Lily's favorite ride of the evening was the dragon roller coaster. This was the first year I could get her on it and she LOVED IT!
Coop loved the airplanes!
Sweet Ruby was so good, I think there was so much going on that it all kept her entertained and happy!
Brock is always a good baby, Katie sure got lucky with this little guy!
I had to take a pic of Josh's hair after he rode a spinning ride with Coop. Too funny!

I also added a pic of me and Lily at her school during the Mom's spa. Lily was so excited to give me my massage, fix my hair (notice there are about fifty clips in my hair, more in the back where you can't see them), paint my nails, and serve me a desert. She did a great job and I enjoyed spending that special time with her.

Fun carnival - glad it is you young people and not me anymore, never did love the carnival scene. But I would do it for my grandkids. Be sure and tell Lily was an awesome job she did on your makeover, a great look for you!

I remember the Tilt-A-Whirl. I rode it one time as a kid, and a grown man threw up right across from me...I haven't been the same since! You're right about the slides, they are a blast!
