Easter 2009

Yes, I realize that it has almost been a week since we celebrated Easter, but it is sooooo hard to find time to get on here and post. I don't know if I've mentioned before but my little Ruby is VERY spoiled!!! If she's awake she wants to be held. I spend a lot of my day holding her, I do let her cry quite a bit because I just can't hold her ALL day long, I get very little done as it is! We had an incredible Easter weekend as always. We went to Woodward on Friday and just had a great time spending time with family. My grandparents (mom's parents) celebrated their 60 years of wedded bliss this past Tuesday, so we had a little party for them on Saturday. My mom's brother and sister and all of their families came to town for the party and Easter, it was a very special weekend to have everyone there together. On Saturday we spent the day playing outside, attending soccer games, coloring Easter eggs, and celebrating Pa and Nanny's life together. Then of course on Sunday we went to church to celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It was an incredible service where God's presence was felt by all.

Lily loves to color eggs! There were ten children coloring eggs together, talk about CRAZY, but it was a blast and what great memories we are all making!!!!

Sweet Coop, this was the first Easter he has really gotten into coloring his eggs.

Posing with her master pieces

On Easter morning the kids wake up to goodies in their baskets and eggs hidden around the house to find. Coop was pretty good at hunting down the eggs!
Lily has really grown up so much this year (sniff, sniff). She never did like to hunt eggs with an "audience" watching her, but this year she was an old pro!
The Easter Bunny brought Lily a High School Musical purse full of goodies, she LOVES it!
Coop got a soccer ball, what was the Easter Bunny thinking?! There is constantly a soccer game going on in my house!
Ruby is very excited about her gifts!
My precious babies ready to go to church.
Family pictures have seemed to become a little easier now that Lily and Coop are older, I am assuming they will get hard again once little Ruby gets mobile! I just LOVE my family so very much!!

We all had a fantastic but tiring weekend!!!
