Welcome Home Ruby!!!!

Well, as you have seen from my mom's and Katie's blog Ruby made her appearance January 20th at 7:17 AM. I was a little nervous, but everything went off without a hitch. My nurse successfully gave me my IV the first time (usually it takes about 5 times), and my spinal was completely pain free!!! YEA! I was so relieved to finally get my c-section out of the way. Ruby entered this world weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 19 inches long. All of my babies were 19 inches long. She is currently weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces but is eating like a champ so I don't think it will take her long to catch back up. We had a nice little stay at the hospital and now we are enjoying the comforts of being home. By the way if my mom wasn't here I would be going crazy. So a big shout out to my mom- Thanks Mom!!!! We had a nice little homecoming on Thursday from our kids, my mom, Katie, and her kids. None of them could have cared less about me or Josh, they only had eyes for Ruby. She is just so precious and we couldn't love her any more.

I had the BEST anesthesiologist, he was so friendly and offered to take our first "family" photo with Ruby.

A few of Ruby's fans!!

Sweet baby, exhausted mama!

Lily is so proud of Ruby, she literally WILL NOT put her down unless we make her and just try to get her to share- it's not easy!!!

It was a hard day for daddy too!!!!

Coop finally got to meet Ruby on Wednesday, he didn't even mind wearing his mask. He even says "cheese" when he takes a pic with the mask on. :)

Ruby found her thumb within hours of entering this world! I think I have another Lily on my hands!! :)

I LOVE my family!!!!

Ruby is dressed and ready to go home!

Lily and Cooper made coming home signs for Ruby. They were very excited to show them off.
Coop gets a good look at her without his mask!
And finally Lily is doing her "job" she said she would do since the day she found out I was pregnant-feeding the baby!!!!

Congratulations! I love that picture of you and Josh with Ruby; you are beaming, and you can tell that Josh is, too, even with the mask on. Ruby is so beautiful! Did Lily and Coop have dark hair like her when they were newborns? I think she looks like Lily. Speaking of hair, yours looks perfect even right after giving birth. Congrats, again!

I'm with Ashlee, your hair looks too good for a woman who just had a baby. Thanks for posting all the adorable photos of Ruby. She is absolutely gorgeous. I love poor little Cooper with his mask on holding his baby sister. Just precious. It cracks me up imagining Lily being the baby hog. I guess I'll have to hold Lily to be able to hold Ruby - that sounds perfect to me since I love me some Lily! Glad your pretty mom (lucky you, you look like her) is there to help you out while you get back on your feet. Relax and let everyone take care of you and the baby. Big congrats.
