Well, we headed to Woodward for the 4th of July and we had a blast. It's just so nice to spend time with family. Katie, the kids, and I headed up a few days before our husbands so we could spend a little more time with everyone. Also my parents are finally getting new carpet, and I still had quite a bit of high school stuff in my room to go through and throw away. I know its pathetic its been eleven years and I am just now getting my old room cleaned out.
We had a wonderful holiday, the weather was beautiful, and the fireworks were entertaining. I think this was the first time we had ALL been together for the 4th and it was so much fun. The kids are growing up way to fast, and our husbands haven't grown up at all!! :) I'm not sure who enjoyed setting the fireworks off more, the kids or the husbands!
All ready to head to the party! Chad's parents are so wonderful and each year they invite us out to their land so we can cook out and set off fireworks.
Lily loved stepping on the poppers!
Sparklers are always a big hit with my kiddos.
Coop is getting to be such a big boy! This was the first year Lily was brave enough to set off a few fireworks...
but she did run for the hills when they went off, along with Ella and Coop.
I just cannot quite believe how brave my little Lily was this year, she was helping me hold a Roman Candle, which she has NEVER done before.
My wonderful grandparents, everyone knows them as Nanny and Pa. We just love it when they get to come around for all the fun holidays. They are the BEST!

GOod times... Cooper's gonna hate that bunny suit picture one day!
I was beginning to wonder about your blogging abilities! Love the pics, and I can't wait to see you guys this weekend.
Cooper in the bunny suit reminds me of one of my favorite movies, "A Christmas Story". Man, Lily sure looks grown-up in those pics.
That is a funny picture of Coop in the bunny suit. It reminds me of that movie A Christmas Story! I'm glad you found your way back to blogging:)
I love Lily's red, white, and blue leggings and her Belle shirt. She is so cute. I heard my dad had a great time with her in Sunday school! I agree, Coop in the Bunny Suit = A Christmas Story. You need to make him the pink bunny suit!
Welcome back to the "Blog World" now the only way to keep from slipping back into old habits is to try to post at least twice a week:D I love the picture of the kids running from the fire works, mine were not that good and it truly does tell the story. I don't think they got to watch any of them go off, they were too busy running away!
Oh good you are back to blogging...I was starting to get a little worried about you!! I love all the 4th of July pictures. You guys always have so much fun together.
Welcome back to the blogging world friend!
Oh Cooper looks so cute in the bunny suit!
Looks like you guys had a good time!
Yes, it looked like Mr. Steve was a hit in Sunday school class and Lily was just right up there sitting on his lap! To cute!
Hope to see a new post in a couple of days!
Looks like you had a great 4th! Kids are so funny, they want to shoot the fireworks and run as soon as they're lit! hehe My boys were the same way, ran for the hills each time one would start to go off. Love the bunny suit on Cooper! Too cute!
Great pics. LOVE Cooper has the bunny!
