Wicked was FANTASTIC!!!! Yes we are cheesy and we do not care! Do you think anyone could tell we were tourists? :)
My mom and I just loved this sign, it says it all Wicked was the best show I have seen so far!! I left the show so happy and giddy, I can't wait until it comes to Tulsa and I get to see it again. My new favorite line is stolen from Glenda the Good Witch "It's so good to see me"!!
Of course there were t-shirts bought and of course we wore them the very next day!!!!! By the way Josh and Dad liked the show, but they did not appreciate it for the fabulousness (is that even a word?) that it was!We were also able to see Mamma Mia while we were in NYC. And though it was a good show, it cannot compare to the awesomeness of Wicked!!
This picture cracks me up, we had just finished walking through the MET, can you tell my mom really enjoyed it and Josh's expression says it all!!!
Time Square- it feels like you are in a whole different country. The amount of people and buildings are incredible. Everything was lit up with fabulous lights, I didn't know were to look first.
Here is my honey and me, in the background you can see a big red bus. We rode that bus all around NYC for a tour on Sunday. Our first guide wasn't to great but our second guide was fantastic. Did I mention we didn't even need a tour guide, my dad is one of those people who has a head full of information. As we walked all through NYC he stopped to share and teach us all that he knew. Believe me it was more than the tour guides!
Here is Rockefeller square, isn't that cool that they are still ice skating in April! It was really beautiful!
Here is my beautiful mother, behind her is a gorgeous pond smack inside Central Park.
We all became quite the subway pros by the time this trip was over!!!
I will end my posts about our New York City trip with a picture of the delicious cheese cake we splurged with on our last night there! We had such an incredible time and I can't wait to go back!

Josh and Dad had to pose by the bull! Aren't they lookin sharp?!
Yes, people this is my 52 year old father posing between the cheeks of the bull, he thought he was pretty funny!!
So my dad the tour guide, encouraged us to walk across Brooklyn Bridge. We were pretty winded by the time we made it across and decided to subway it back to Manhattan. The engineer in my father just couldn't get over this incredible bridge and how they built it all those years ago with very limited tools!!

Let's not wait 8 years til we go back next time. You are right the pictures do not do it justice:D
8 years, I can't believe that was 8 years ago. Man that really makes me feel old. Oh, by the way the little comment on my blog about you posting. I didn't write that mom did. Well anyways hopefully next time you go to New York your baby sister can go.
Mmm, that cheesecake looks delicious! When does Wicked come to Tulsa? I've heard nothing but good things; although, I'm sure it's way better in NY. I am happy to see that your mom enjoyed the Met...I would have been right there with her!
I've loved seeing all of your NY pictures. I makes me want to go!! But please no more pictures of cheesecake...I'm trying to stick to my diet and that picture has me craving a slice really bad!!
Oh my gosh that picture of your dad and the bull is hilarious! Just looking at your pics makes me want to go!
Great pictures. Maybe I'll get to go sometime in the next 8 years! That is one of the places I really want to go!
how fun! that's probably one vacation where you can actually LOSE wait from all the walking...
Wow, looks like you guys had a great time! I am so jealous! The pic of Josh and the big hershey syrup makes me laugh...wouldn't it be nice if there was really chocolate in it! YUM!
Love the pic of your dad under the tail of that bull - isn't that what the stock market is doing to everybody right now?
What a fun trip - I'm ready to go hit Times Square, the museums, and Central Park. Amazing to see so much green in such a huge city.
I love New York and now I really want to go back. I'm a little (okay, a lot) jealous!
I LOVE THE PICTURES!! LOOKS LIKE YOU HAD A GREAT TIME AND WHAT A GREAT FAMILY TIME!! YOU LOOK GREAT TOO BY THE WAY.
