Woodward Weekend

We had such a wonderful weekend in Woodward. As most of you know I am extremely close to my family and so I always enjoy heading home to Woodward to see everybody, but this weekend was special for other reasons. We headed west to see our Dad go through his deacon ordination ceremony. Words cannot describe the love we all have for this very special man. Many of you have heard some funny stories about our family and most of them have to do with our wonderful father. Our dad is the best, he has always been very supportive, loving, guiding, and so many other things I can't put into words. He gave the most beautiful speech in front of his church on Sunday and had us all in tears or laughter. I am so proud to call him my dad, God has truly blessed us with a great Christian father. I have shared quite a few pics from this weekend, so you'll just have to bear with me. I hope you enjoy looking through our memories of a great weekend!

Here is our dad with all of his girls. (Can you believe Sally just had tonsil surgery, she is such a trooper)

Here we all are again with mom added to the group, my sweet brother-in-law Chad took this pic. Later he said he was trying to cut Katie out. I think he was trying to think of a good excuse for the badly centered pic. We still love him! I know I mentioned above how special our father is and I would like to say our mother is also very special. We love you both!

Here is Pa with almost all of his adoring grandchildren, the two youngest were not available for the pictures. Little Ryder was asleep and Katie wouldn't let us wake him up and poor Ben had been sick all weekend.

Here is our dad with his dad, also known as Pa

I think this picture speaks for itself, like father like son!

I also love going to Woodward because I get to see one of my very best friends, Hilary. Our daughters are the same age, so they will of course carry on the tradition of best friends some day!
Here are a few pics of everyone goofying around at Pa and Mimi's house. Isn't Katie so pretty?!! :)
Poor Lily pouting because she can't suck her thumb, her mean mommy put yucky nail polish on her thumbs. :(
Mandy and Sam have to rely on Max's computer skills to help them conquer all of their games.
Ben and Ryder love their Aunt Annie

What a beautiful family! That is so cool that your dad is a deacon now. I enjoyed all of the pictures...it made me wish that I had at least one sister! (although I love my brother)

What sweet pictures of your family! They remind me how much we need to get some recent shots with our parents and Addison in them...

Love the photos Annie. All you girls are so lucky to have each other. I wish I had a sister or two. BTW you all look just exactly like you did in HS, it's amazing how you all haven't really changed much.

What a good looking family! That is awesome about your father.
Uh Annie I am glad the finger nail polish is working for you. I sucked my thumb till I was 26 and McKenna stated doing it because of me. So stop it now if you can.
Oh Katie she is so cute!
Love all the pictures.

If I had my way, "Lilian" WOULD be back on the table...but Taylor's in the picture, and I guess his opinion matters too:) We won't give up hope just yet!
